Welcome Back Everyone!
We are once again meeting in person on the Second Tuesday of each month at our regular location. We are still spacing ourselves out and being respectful of mask wearing if desired. Our first meeting in April saw 7 members attend and the meeting in May had 5. We had a great time at both meetings with Show and Tell, a small project, and much delight in the comradery and catching up with friends.
One sad note, long time member Kathryn Fuller succumbed to pancreatic cancer on May 2, 2022 and will be deeply missed.
Our next meeting is on June 14 and includes a great quilt fabric sale from the estate of Kathryn Fuller. Members are invited to begin shopping at 9:30 am. Non-members are invited to attend at 11:00am for the sale.
For each meeting we would love to have you bring your quilting you've been doing since we last saw you and have a big Show and Tell. It's our favorite part and the photos get included under the Show and Tell tab on this blog. Often we will have a small project and will let you know ahead what supplies you will need. The June 14 meeting will not have a project because of the sale.
Meetings are scheduled to run from 9:30am to 2pm which includes plenty of time for free sewing or a small project. Please bring your regular sewing kit and machine with power cord and foot pedal. You are encouraged to bring a sack lunch and enjoy some social time part way through the day.
